We had an excellent turnout - but rather mixed weather, leading to an unusually heavy course - at Winsford for the first XC race of the season on Saturday.
Some great performances, with four individual winners and two team wins among the age groups.

Remember you have to PRE REGISTER for the Manchester League, (it costs you nothing though) so contact your coach if you haven't done so already. More details here.. http://maccl.co.uk/

News in from Wollaton Hall, Nottingham ....
As predicted all eyes were on Sian Heslop who finished 17th out of 468 in the U15 girls.
The under 15 boys team finished in 11th place out of 36 teams thanks to amazing team efforts from Lucas, Finn, Peter and Harry.
The Junior ladies race saw outstanding performances from Sarah Stockman, 20th and Louisa Whittingham, 35th who have consistently ran well all season.
There were several other great performances amongst both our juniors and senior runners at the top XC race in the country.
Well done to everyone who ran today through deer muck, reeds and knee deep water.
Hope you've all received your saucony photos. A real momento of another great event.Â
