Cross Country update...

The first North Staffs Cross Country League (NSCCL) match is this Saturday, 26 September,at Knights Grange Sports Complex, Winsford, for all age groups.

 http://www.nsccl.org.uk/

Please let your team managers know if you are intending to compete. No previous experience required - why not give it a go? We would love to see you there. Pre-registration not required. Turn up and race in club vest/top (must be a competing member) and just record your finish position on the team sheet. Juniors start from 12:00,with seniors from 13:30.

Calling all seniors: We struggle to field a team for the first match of the season, and then will fail to score as a team for the rest of the league. Please consider giving this match a go this weekend if not racing (consider swapping your Parkrun for XC).

Thanks

James Noakes

North Staffs XC League

Well done to everyone who ran on Saturday, on the 'not quite flat' Westwood Park course.

In the series results, congratulations to the U13 Girls, who thanks to a huge and very speedy turnout at most of the races (seven in the first 17 at Leek !) won the team competition by a very large margin ! and the Senior Ladies who came second in the second division and are now promoted to the first !.

In the individual competition, Sian Heslop won the U13 Girls, with Stephanie Moss in 3rd place, and for the Ladies Liz Smith was 2nd V45 and Jo Miles 2nd V50.

But congratulations to everyone from the club who managed to complete the four race series !
