It should have been the Gun Run today, sadly not but there's nothing to stop you having a socially distanced mooch round the route over the next few days: post me your times.
I'd pick a slightly cooler time than it was at 3pm today though. Or not, if you like it warm.
There's a map link below, have a good look before you set off and you'll be fine.: but if you're 'racing' then for timing start and finish is by the phone box just up from the hall. It's not that hilly (you may disagree) and all on good surfaces: Road shoes fine.
Target times A group 50 mins, B group 60 mins, C group 75 mins and D group 90 mins. Say hello to the rangers if you see them !
Not usually too many folk out on Gun, unlike the Roaches and Rudyard which are mobbed out.Â

Return of the Gun Run after a few years' absence, with a new route.
All proceeds to Staffordshire Wildlife Trust for restoration of Gun Hill and the Staffordshire Moorlands.
