If you fancy a run on a Tuesday or Thursday morning run and post-run cup of tea, the Pensioners Potter is a non-denomination group that is open to anyone who is retired (or can get the time off work!).
All are welcome and there is no requirement to be either a pensioner or particularly good at making things out of clay.
More details and their calendar are on the following link.  http://ppotter.simplesite.com/

The 2019 Scamper-O was another success - 25 Club members had a very enjoyable scamper around the Combs valley on a pleasant May evening trying to find as many of the 27 controls and gather as many of the 44 points that were on offer. See below for report and results...
Basic Navigation Skills session - another success

Today the club held another successful 'Basic Navigation Skills' course - 12 club members spent to the morning doing some classroom work and short practical sessions and in the afternoon they went out in pairs (supported by experienced fell runners) to tackle a challenging route around the Goyt Valley which involved good map and compass work. Thanks to Phil & Neil for organising the event and to the helpers (Andy S, David T, Hazel W, Julie G, Robbie P). Thanks also to Langley Cricket Club for the use of the facility in the morning. Hopefully the attendees will now put their new found skills into practice. If there is enough interest there may be another course in the autumn.
