We would like to wish all Macc Harriers fell runners a happy New Year! The results of last year's Fell Champs are in the attachment below, which include the 'first past the post' results, 'handicap' results and results from all the club champs races. Many thanks to Dennis Kentrop and Mark Burley for compiling.
We are delighted to announce that the top male and female club runners assembling most points in 2019 are Billy Hicks and Alannah Birthwistle. Congratulations to Alannah, Kathleen, Andrea: Billy, Chris and Mark: our top three ladies and gents (in both the 'open' and 'handicap' class). The inaugural Barry Blyth Club Enthusiast award for the person who participated in most Club races in 2019 was a very close call between Kathleen O'Donnell and Oscar Trevena. However with an impressive 24 out of 29 races this year the award goes to Oscar.Â
Well done to all winners for a fantastic achievement.
Participation in 2019 has been good and well done to all for completing so many of our Club Fell Champ races in 2019. With the Club Fell Champs 2020 published a couple of weeks ago we hope you already started planning and we look forward to an even higher participation in 2020.

There are lots of exciting things to look forward to in 2020. We have been working hard to try to capture the spirit of inclusivity as well as the challenge of fell running and are keen to support both experienced and fledgling runners.

On a blustery and wet night there were 23 teams (33 competitors) out hunting for the colour of doors all around Bollington. Mark Burley took the win for the 3rd year. There was a donation of £142 for East Cheshire Hospice as well. Many thanks to The Vale Inn for hosting us and to those who helped with registration and marking.

A wonderful day with a record turnout. 57 runners, several walking groups and an invaluable group of helpers.
First thanks to the helpers...
Andy Ardron, Dave Wilson,Martin Rands, Dave Buxton & Nancy Bunyan at various points on the route.
Annette Morris & Anna Maddox at start & finish & Bob &Â Pauline Lynch at the finish.
I put all the helpers in the draw for the spot prize which I hope you`ll agree was the right thing to do.
Though I take responsibility for the "bad" handicaps I must thank Barry & Mark for their work on the season`s results spreadsheet & Neil for his input on those of you who don`t appear there.
