Lakeland Classics Trophy
After several years of absence, Macclesfield Harriers finished in 12th position this year beating several other strong clubs in the process. Highlights of the season go to Simon Harding for his fantastic Ennerdale win, and Barry Blyth for an excellent 2nd V60 in his first attempt at the series. This bodes very well for next season where I am sure we can climb the rankings. Well done all!

Registration will be in the car park from 6.30pm to 6.55pm then a prompt start, for fun and frolics in the dark, from 7pm. It's a 90 minute score event (as many controls as you can get to in the time limit, with penalties for a tardy return).
A minimum donation of £1 per person is requested to cover map printing costs with any surplus to go to Buxton Mountain Rescue. To get a rough ideas of how many maps are required pl. indicate by posting on the forum if you are intending to come along.
This is a pairs event (we'll find you someone to run with if you come on your own). Each person is required to have full body cover, whistle, hat, gloves and, very importantly, a compass. A safety pin may also be useful to attach the punch card to yourself. A torch might not be a bad idea as well.
Pub venue TBC on the night.'
