Manchester Metropolitan Universite (MMU) is running a research project testing a new cryotherapy device in February and March and is looking for volunteers to take part. We have been asked to let Macclesfield Harriers members know about this.
The testing requires a single visit of either ½ hour or 1 hour depending on how much time you can spare.
The attached documents give more information. Please be aware that the study is not to see whether there are therapeutic effects from the device, it is purely to see whether the device cools the area.
Please see the documents attached for more information.

The awards for Road, Fell & Cross Country along with the ‘Special Awards’ will be presented at the AGM on Friday 18th March (7.00pm) at the Bollington Arts Centre.
There was a record number of nominations for the ‘Special Awards’ and these are all listed below (alphabetical in each case). Congratulations to all those who were nominated by fellow club members – it has been a difficult job for the Awards Committee to decide on the winners in each category.
The winners will be announced at the AGM – so please come along to congratulate them all!
