I think and I am OK now, Nicky and David. I have allocated most of the jobs. If you were to be around, I would have cover for any non-shows but it is looking good so far.
Many Thanks for you kind offers

Here is my plan

I see Julie Gardner as a natural sweeper with Steve Wood on his bike to keep an eye on things at the rear of the field.

I think Bill Ritchie would be suitable for the first big turn in the forest, I think David Shoesmith is a specialist at Forest Chapel, this year accompanied by Carol and her husband Carl. Phil and Bebe should be perfect for standing stone and the water station. Dave Tucker could fight it out with the traffic at the road crossing. Kath Turner has the nous to see who would not be suitable for the muddy/grassy short cut and who should be sent round the track. Dave Jackson has made the corkscrew turn his own. I am having an extra marshal, Marc Bradford, this year on top of Nessit Hill for the left fork at the start of the descent. Sophie, at the bottom again, will hope that this prevents runners coming at her from all directions as they did two years ago.

I am asking Julie Gardner to help with registration, Mark Wheelton, in his delicate state, to help with both registration and the finish. i am asking Chris Pimblott to just do the finish and I would like Sophie, if she is around early, to use her knowledge of registration to open up a second registration at the Leather Smithy at 7.00pm ish for late entries, before going up to her late marshalling position.

Shall we meet at 6.45pm for a briefing session at the visitors centre (registration)

Many thanks for your support,

Peter

Peter was able to donate £739 (net profit) to The Rossendale Trust. This money will be used to support their 'WorkTaste' program.

Good effort!
