British Fell Relays...

Postby Philip Barnes » Sun May 19, 2013 10:32 am

...will be taking place in Llanberis on SUNDAY OCTOBER 20.
I know this is a long way off, but this gives you time to re- arrange any weddings, family holidays etc.
If you are interested in being part of the team(s) this year, please let me know. I will be shoving this post back to the top at regular intervals between now and the big day.

I would be interested if there were any chance of a super vets team (i.e. 0/60 ).

Dan, I'm sure (possibly ex) fell rep Phil will have our teams entered in timely fashion - we managed 3 teams last year, a grand day out, and our open team about 10th as I recall !

More details are here http://www.britishfellrelay.org.uk

I'm sure folk can stick their names down here if interested, has the makings of a great weekend away. Hoping to be there (if not too slow....)

I am happy to organise this. I have been campaigning for some time to try and make sure we have the strongest teams available. If poss I would like to see a Senior men, senior women and a v40 team at least. I think this year we should be able to get a very strong set of runners out.

I really want to do this and am free that weekend but am still not sure if I'm fast enough??
Should be OK for a women's team though...especially if not navigationally challenged as I was last weekend!
Let me know Phil if you're interested...
Ta,
Sarah.

Hi Phil,
I'd be up for another crack at this, really enjoyed the last one I did in Grassington, a grand day out!

Cheers,

Hi Phil,
I would like to register my interest in this. I realise there are probably enough faster women around at the moment to represent the club, but am happy to be on standby for any drop outs etc.

Thanks to everyone who has shown interest so far. I am sure there are others who would particiapte but havent yet made their intensions clear. I will hopefully be sitting down with a few wiser heads this week to thriash out possible teams. the plan is to get the strongest Senior team possible, then a V40 and V50 team. it looks like there are about 8/9 women who have also now expressed interest which is fantastic, so a strong ladies team is on the cards :D
