Its all very quiet about Jura! What happened folks? Can't see any results either!

Don't think the results are out yet! It was by a large margin the toughest race I have ever done, Wasdale/ Borrowdale/HPM doesn't compare IMHO. The heat was dreadful, water was scarce and with 2 hours of the race still to go I found that granite cuts you like a Stanley knife and needed 4 stitches in my left palm.
Despite all, Brian and I did finish and I think quite a few didn't. Don't care about the times, it's all about the t-shirt :D and I shall be wearing mine with pride on Wednesday night!

...and I shall be back, Jura is an amazing place and we should ALL be there next year!

Congratulations to both of you & I am so pleased that you find the island as inspiring as I do.
We REALLY SHOULD DO A CLUB TRIP next year
Looking forward to a new Barnes avatar with a better wound & bonus points for declining the ambulance at 3 mile bridge....that might be a Harriers first.
