Hopefully the old legs will survive 1 more winter in which case I`ll take you from Dunmail to at least Scafell Pike as long as you promise not go at Symington`s pace.

One thing is guaranteed Phil, I won't be going at anywhere near 'Symington Speed', ever. Thanks for your posts of support thus far. I'm looking forward to some long days out on the fells. Will try and get up to the Lakes as much as possible. Have just entered the LDWA Autumn in Lakeland, October 9th. I shall be up there with the family if anyone else fancies it.

I'm in.

Give me a call if you want company on any long training runs. I know how much Larry enjoyed my company, especially when I started timing him on all the climbs

Chris I'd really appreciate it if you could nip out for a bit! Could well be in the Valley 3rd weekend in October. I'll give you a shout nearer the time.

Ian - Larry's already warned me about your shenanigans! I could follow your trail of dust sometime.

Happy to carry a bag from Wasdale to Honister/Keswick, the latter depending on the weather, the legs and just how good a night was had at Gosforth Hall.
