Somehow managed to miss this race (and fete) in past years even though on doorstep but was amazed by the sheer numbers of people (and dogs) all crammed onto the field and more importantly couldn't get close to the bar.
Smashing race over familiar (but somehow seemed steeper!) ground and a very welcome return for me to races after long injury lay off (not 100%). Thanks to Sophie and all the helpers for a cracking race.
