New Fell Race, Warslow, Sat 2nd July

A message from Will Meredith from Buxton about 'a new fell race I'm organising at the Warslow Beer Festival (nr Hartington). Tis a cracking little route and manages to fit in some nice out of the way hills around the Wetton area with some nice big drops and climbs... The Beer Fest is a cracking good doo too.

We went round the route last night.
Lovers of tough knarly races should be in their element.
It's not flat, with some significant ups and downs for the white peak !
And a large chunk of it is not on footpaths, so some challenging terrain underfoot too.
Some great views from the tops though !!
Will tells me it'll all be well marked on the day, so you shouldn't get lost.
My guess is that under the hour for the 'just under 6 mile' will be a very good run.

Will would be pleased to see you at the race!

Also if anyone would like to marshal (it's a beer festival from noon till midnight, so you'll be going anyway?) he could do with just a few.
