Just a reminder... the course marking team (currently myself, Dave Parry , Dave Walker and John Mooney, but all welcome) to meet at 18.30 at the top of Broadcar Road, armed the machete, secateurs, shears, signs, tape and canes. Then retire to the Dunny. Any more volunteers to marshal? ..................Still a few vacant posts................
Tucks, my oversight...of course be great to see you on the setting out trip... We shall be joined by Holly who is involved with the sheepdog trails, new to the area but glad to help out...many thanks Holly. Setting out from Broadcar Road from 18.30 on Friday.
Angela and Brian J, I have added you in to what I think are suitable spots....please let me know if you think otherwise.
Any suggestions as to the placement of folk, please speak up.
Simon, I'm otherwise engaged on Sat morning from 11am and not sure when I will finish but if I can get to Bullocks lane in time I'm happy to be a dogs body but don't rely on me for anything specific in case I'm late getting there.
Just been advised that access to the trials field will only be from London Road and access via Bullocks Lane is not available. It won't effect the race route, just access for parking. So it's access through a gate opposite Macclesfield Audi on London Road....
...just going to get the beer from Wincle. Cheers.
Several months ago, the Sheepdog Trial Association asked if the start could be moved from 2.30 to 1.00, as they have the rest of their event to co-ordinate.
I immediately advised the FRA and they altered the website, but of course the paper calender was already out.
I posted on the FRA forum and on Macc that the time had changed.
I am sorry if anyone is put out about it, but it's hard to get to everyone. I shall endeavour to contact the most likely club's today.
I have emailed Bramhall Runners and Spectrum Striders with the start time change. I've added a post on the MH&AC Facebook page as well - if any more info is needed on there just shout.
