Absolutely fantastic result Steve! Even quicker than Joss Naylor himself!

Well done.

Be a right crowd of us at the dinner this year!

You may not know this Phil, but Hazel and I are re-doing the Naylor with you in June 2016 in our next respective age groups. We just need to fix a date for it nearly 2 years in advance like we did last time.

Power = Work / time

The standard metric unit of power is the Watt.

The "Steve" Watt is equivalent to 1 Joss.

Since I would expect to take roughly twice as long as Steve does that mean I would be equivalent to 1/2 a Joss?

Physicists needn't reply

Well done Steve.

Just a quick thank you to my two pacers who accompanied me all the way. Monty, who is presently having an excellent doggy dream by all the twitching, although for some reason he's not running in his sleep which he often does, and Digby. Not sure what Digby is up to now? They both did an excellent job keeping me going.
Excellent day out highly recommended to everyone, whatever age.

A bit mind boggling Steve! Your support paced you all the way? I presme you mean they did ca half each which is some going carrying etc. Plaudits all round.

Great stuff.

Barry, the problem was all to do with opposable thumbs. As a consequence of not having any, Monty can’t quite manage to hold a pen to sign to say that I visited every top, although I haven’t seen the rule that your pacer needs to be a human! So Digby ran the whole way to make it official and Monty didn't want to miss out on an fantastic day out in the Lakes.

Congratulations Steve! The 50 year old category, male or female, is quite an achievement, unlike for us real oldies. I don't think I could have managed a sub 12 hours at 50, let alone your time.
See you at the "do". There should be plenty there with lots of successful completions this year - 7 from Lakeland Orienteering Club alone.
