Fell Handicap 2013

Postby phil cheek » Thu Sep 19, 2013 10:39 pm

Oh yes,it`s time for folk to start arguing that they aren`t running, are unwell, injured, old, etc etc.
Can we please have some better excuses or better bribes this year please.
Importantly is there any major conflict of events if we go for Sunday Dec 15th?
If that won`t work Dec 8th is possible & if necessary we can go into January but that increases likelihood of clashes with xc.
Phil
PS Please don`t deliver the usual crates of beer, cases of wine etc in the next couple of weeks `cos my garage isn`t secure till Steve finishes work on my house,& don`t forget to put your name on your "gift"......last year a very nice bottle of malt went unrewarded because some numpty didn`t put their name on it.
It`s a tough job & if anyone wants to take over they can as long as I can enter & start soon after 7 AM!!!!!!

15th sounds good, but either really

Presumably Langley start again - Phil are you planning to use the pub ?

Will put something on the main website after it's confirmed.

15th for me, but not sure if I'll be running. My knees have only just recovered from last year's extravaganza. Will help/marshal if I don't.

Sadly, I won't be around this year...shame, as I love this event. All not lost though.... I'll follow the pleading and bargaining on here with interest :D

No need to stop - I'll express and run with a bottle in my pack.
Looking forward to it! (If the wife will let me)
