lakes on sunday

Postby Digby » Thu May 24, 2012 6:46 am

I'm thinking of reccying the ennerdale route on Sunday starting from borrowdale. Anyone else interested in coming up? We don
't have to do the same route and could meet back at the car.

Yes please - I just want to get a good walk/jog with lots of ups & downs. Won't be able to keep up with anyone but quite happy to be on my own.

I might be at the track tonight but if not my numbers are 01625 424564 / 07979 858988.

There are a whole load of harriers up there this weekend and planning varying jaunts. Not sure how easy it will be to co-ordinate. We ('im indoors,me and Julie Fletcher) are running from Pooley Bridge tomorrow. I think there is a Borrowdale/Ennerdale recce Saturday, and a Great Lakes recce Sunday.
I've got your mobile number, are you just thinking of a day trip or are you staying in the area?

Yep, just a day trip.
Nancy - I'll be in contact to discuss arrangements. I think Hughesy is coming up, too.
Room for one or two others if interested.

Forecast for Sunday looks excellent :D . MWIS is saying:

Sunshine and air clarity?
Bright sunshine most or on western fells probably all day - beware sunburn. Excellent visibility.

How Cold? (at 750m)
12 to 15C

No other takers? Give me a call on 01625 613557 if you want to come along.
