I once bought a pair of Aldi ergonomic running socks but I had one hell of a job keeping up with them.

Not bad at all - might have to invest in some of that for the winter!

Best,

'Im indoors buys branded stuff, whereas I generally buy Aldi kit.

Generally, their kit is good quality, but the sizes/fit can be a bit variable - especially the running tights.

The hats, gloves headbands are good quality, warm & well priced, & the jackets usually compare well with other more expensive brands.
I tend to buy the cycle gear as the jackets are longer at the back & keep my bum warm in cold weather!

I must pop in. Could do with some new tights as the ones I already have are beginning to fray a little around the crotch area. I’m worried to be spotted whilst out running with a bird out of the nest by someone I don’t know, who may take umbrage at such a display and call the cops for something I’m completely and utterly innocent about.

Ron Hill Running Gear Half Price

Postby Ian Sparks » Thu Oct 13, 2011 3:27 pm

I find Aldi's Gear is okay for the price, the quality isn't as good as it used to be - better value gained from the current Camp 4 sale on Ron Hill gear. 50 % off mostly. Loads of Ladies stuff left, Men's limited. I have spent my birthday money before I have even got it. I think they are easing off the running gear due to competition from elsewhere and having a bit of a clear out of clothing
