Phil,
I'm happy to help out the navigating a leg or two , if you trust me!

Can you just remind me about accommodation in Wasdale - what's the current situation? I need somewhere for Saturday night. Also, what about Friday night?

Thanks, Digby

Legs 3 & 4 probably the most feasible for me... shall have to confirm arrangements at home and shall be in touch.

Is there still space on the campsite?

I'll give them a call...

Looking forward to it. :)

As Phil has said, Church Stile camp site will only let you book for 2 nights at a time. However, when I phoned they said that if I turned up on the Saturday night and there was room, then they would fit me in for one night. So - if you want to risk it that is an option. Afraid haven't telephone number to hand of camp site, but if you Google "Nether Wasdale Camp Site" Church Stile will come up. You can then either e mail or ring.

Many thanks to everyone who has offered to help so far, great response.

Phil, I would love to carry stuff on leg 1 for someone if you need an extra, failing that - any other leg, but prefer leg 1 :)

I have booked Church Stile Farm camping for the Friday & Saturday (24th / 25th) nights for myself and Luke... ... not that Church Stile have confirmed availability yet.

As I said the latter 2 legs would be best for me, but will muck in.

Thanks for all the offers.
I`ll put a final list together next week.
Strands Inn booked for Saturday night. We`ll be looking for numbers & menu choices from you later.
Pete Coppack, great to have an experienced Naylor man on board.Any chanmce you could do the last leg(as well as or instead of leg3)?I`d like to have 3 navigators from Sty Head if we can in case we need to split up.Chris, you & Annettegives us that flexibility if we need it.
After 13 hours on the fells nearly 10,000 feet of climb over 2 days I think I might be the one at the back.
