An alternative run for those not wanting to go out to the Boars Head in Higher Poynton, meet at the Hanging Gate Inn, Higher Sutton, ready to run at 7:00.

I was all set to join you. But it took me an hour and a half to get from work to Poynton and another 35 minutes to get near Macc Forest. I was even getting changed while waiting for the lights to change at the temporary traffic lights. But then I got lost and gave up at 7.10.
There were a surprising number of runners near the Church Inn so perhaps that was some of you.
