Sunday Run 17th January 2016

9.30 Hayfield Quarry at Bowden Bridge a kilometre to the east of Hayfield at grid reference SK 048 869.

There is a pay and display car park in the old quarry at Bowden Bridge or you can park free on Kinder Road.

A ~2 hour off-road run to experience the snowy slopes and plains of Kinder in winter conditions (hopefully). Best to bring cold weather gear, waterproof socks etc and kahtoolas may be a good idea. http://kahtoola.com/product/microspikes/

It's forecast to be a clear, cold sunny day so the views may be spectacular and something special after all the dark wet clag lately. Good for your S.A.D. and Vit D levels!

Tea & cakes in a Hayfield cafe afterwards.

Meet at Tucker's at 8.45 for car share.

If you are coming round my house and it's snowy don't drive down the hill by my house or you may never get out again!

By popular request, my only decent snap from Sunday's run, taken as my phone died in the extreme cold
