The St Dunstan's Inn, Langley

A recce of the first half of the Handicap Race route from the official start (St Dunstan's Inn), to the Cat & Fiddle Pub with a direct route back from there to Langley. This will be a ~2.75 hour run at a steady pace, suitable for all. It could be a bit wafty on the tops so bring some good gear, a drink & a munchie bar.

The following week (6th Dec) the run will pick up the route from the Cat & Fiddle to include the sweetie tree and the entire second half of the route.

Meet outside the St Dunstan's at 9.30. Park in the local roads by the pub.

Nearly joined you this morning, but had other stuff to do. In the event, did you all have fun in the wind or is the lack of replies down to ongoing efforts to recover survivors..!!?? Won't be around for the main event, but next year....

Thanks for a cracking run yesterday the weather was OK if a little windy on top.We had a discussion about Fell shoes. The Web site to have a look at is Pete Bland Sports, at the moment he has 30% off inov-8 shoes the type that is the most popular are the inov-8 Mudclaw 300.

I don't know how I got round - cream crackered from start to finish - did too much prior to Sunday.
Mudclaws are the best - in the shoe department.....
