Borrowdale Sat 1st

I am heading up for the Borrowdale race tomorrow, but look likely to have an empty car, so if anyone would like a lift up to the Lakes and back for the day (leave after 7 return around tea time), let me know.

I am doing the race - was also going to be driving up on my own.
A lift would be good if that is ok.
I can come to you in the morning or i am on tytherington side of Macc - nr the ship pub on Beach road.

We saw Joss Naylor on Saturday. He was there to greet Jim Kelly on completion of his Joss Naylor Challenge and he joined us in the pub later. He'd earlier been helping to marshal the Borrowdale race. 3 of us were at Styhead Pass at 9am waiting to support Jim on his 4th and last leg when Mountain Rescue marshalls appeared and went on to their check points. A long day for them.
The results are out. Well done with your 3.07 time Simon. I see there were a lot of retirements including Andy. Hope all's OK. Conditions seemed quite good.
