Just entered fingers crossed as I haven't run since NYE! I put it into our club champs so have to do it. Entries were 256 when I looked; now 263! I think the limit is 400 but couldn't spot it in the fell mag or website.

Matt, Digby and myself so far as males with Rachael, Olivia and Ange for the ladies.

I think it is good to have Edale Skyline in the MHAC Fell Champs because it is an AL, and I think we need at least one AL.
When I was entering online yesterday, I had to say whether I had run two ALs in the last 2 years. To my surprise, I had only run one (Sedburgh Hills); all my other longs being BLs (Roaches, Windgather, Kinder Trog). Hopefully my experience of these BLs will be enough to allow my entry. It's a bit like chicken and egg: you need AL experience to run an AL, at least a winter AL. So I need this race not just for the Fell Champs, but also to add to my fell running CV.

In one of my many delusional moments I must have put an entry in for this as I see my name has appeared in the start list - one of two o/70s.

Thinking about car sharing. Suggest meeting at my house (10 Marlborough close) to leave ca 8.30 picking Trevor up on route. I think that shouldgve us plenty of time (start 10.30). Remember clocks change!

Entry list shows Stephan Philips; Rob Gittins; Colin Ardron; Tom Whittington; Digby Harris; Matt Lewis; Trevor Longman; Dave Walker; Barry Blyth; Rachael Lawrance; Clare Griffin and Sarah Ledbury.
I think Dave has opted to do a 100 miler instead (!!).

Post here for car sharing

Barry

PS Looks lie it will be very wet/windy!
