Hi I've got a work colleague who has a place on this this year. Anyone got any advice.

We had 3 harriers run last year plus one who supported a bit.
They all seemed to enjoy it ! as at least 2 are having another go this year !
Well organised and run event.

a few recce runs beforehand as the route has quite a few twists and turns, not all of which are well marked though the organisers do their best !
set off steady at your pace not everyone else's, it's a fair way and not flat
break the route into smaller sections
keep eating and especially drinking, more so if it's at all warm.
think of the tea at the end...

- there you go, I've told you all I know about long distance jaunts.
