Your Langley 7 Needs You!

Less than a month to the famous Langley 7 on Saturday Nov. 1st and at the moment we have over a 100 pre-entries but only about 10 marshals. The race can't go ahead without them so put your shopping plans on hold and wear the yellow marshal bib with pride.

You can contact me direct by text or email: 07554 931391 ; colardron@gmail.com or post on here.

It won't take up more than a couple of hours of your time and the rewards are huge - well a cup of tea and a piece of cake if you're lucky.

Thank you both for doing the right thing, and thanks to those others who have contacted me by other means.

WE STILL NEED MORE WILLING AND IF NECESSARY UNWILLING VOLUNTEERS.

Don't put off doing this thing which can only add to your stock of good things what you have done in your life. :D :D :D :D :D

I presume the cake is large enough to survive more than one bite, otherwise the 'need you' Marshal sign could be hanging around for sometime. But a few crumbs of comfort for the man in charge, I could be tempted in wearing the yellow, if only i'm pampered enough and the tea flows freely an the end of the race.
Otherwise it's Turnip for you. :D

Mudskimmer!

You skimmed into the light as a pond skater skims across the surface film of a pond - a chair will be found for you with an upholstering that would make the Queen herself "purr" with delight

Thank you - will be in touch with the boring detail.

The cake will exceed your wildest dreams - it will be such cake as will make Mary Berry's knees tremble with delight. :o

Colin

I sent a message to say that I could help (offered to sweep) and I think a few E and D group members have also offered cakes and to volunteer. Have you got all those details?

... and cake, we will need cake....

Neil

Perhaps, Mary Berry will answer the call and chip in with some of her delectables, Neil. And what about, Mr Kippling's exceedingly good cakes ? If he's still with us maybe a word in his ear will make the pastry rise :D

Neil, you did indeed offer to sweep and thank you v. much your offer has been accepted. I've had a lady called Sue from one of your groups contact me to help marshal.

Hi Colin ... I sent through Alison Galt's details as well.

Put me down for a spot of marshalling please.
Furthermore, I will be baking a chocolate cake which I trust will be sold by the slice for a good cause and not hoovered up as a freeby by these gannet-like marshals.
