Sorry to have missed this...again.

Not working this time but did The Old Crown Round in the Lakes yesterday...about 24 miles and 7500-8000' of climb. Thus, not really upto trotting anywhere this morning.

I have to say, the weather nigh on perfect and the event very freindly... Beer on the tops...what more would you want!?

Did 7.25... no racing snake time, but that's OK, with plenty of time to take in the views. Splendid.

Well done Simon - would have liked to have done it with you but had to be near home this w/end so did the Gritstone Tryal from Flash Village Hall. This is I think, a splendid event in its own right and I can't understand why it isn't supported by Macc runners - £5 entry, on your doorstep, and it took me across some new footpaths in that never never land around Flash.
