A few of are doing the race on August 3. There is a thought that we can make a weekend of this with non-racers running on the sat possibly giving some moral support at key places, followed by ale in Keswick and a Sunday morning run with whole group.

Please don't ALL throw your hats in the ring.... The next thread to appear is about the Teggs Nose race which the same day as Borrowdale.
Sounds like a nice idea for a club weekend away though and I have unfinished (literally) business at Borrowdale

Phil, sounds like a good plan and will join in for the race and Saturday night for defo. Which campsite? Do we need to book in advance?
