An annual fell race in April, from Mount Pleasant Village Hall, 6.5 miles (10.5km) and 1300ft (400m) of ascent. Entry on the day only £5.00. Please try to car share as parking is limited. The course is partially marked and marshalled. Approx 1 mile of road in the race. Small prizes to M & F category winners including V40, V50 & V60. Teams.

The Run
9.30 Hayfield Quarry car park or meet at Tucker's at 8.45 for car share. A ~2 hour run to include the tops of kinder, is it still snowy up there?! Then tea & cakes in the now famous Rosie's caff that's actually owned by Deidre. And we know that because of all the publicity surrounding the first screening of "The Village" on the BBC. It was filmed in Hayfield and surrounding countryside,
Whatever we do, wherever we go, its going to be warm & sunny. The wind will have dropped and the temerature will have risen a bit. Shorts if you're brave, sunglasses needed.
