Hi Phil,

Working Wednesday so was thinking of coming out Sunday morning potentially. Are either the (Moors & Tors) or (Sandstone trail) a slow Sunday run? Or will that be posted by Tucks again later? Only checking because I'm not sure if I'm around Sunday morning.

Thanks mate,

Dom

Dominic,
Everything I listed is a race, though Moors & Tors has walks as well.
I`m sure Tucker et al will do their usual 30 minute run followed by 2 hour tea drinking on Sunday, though if it stays this warm they`ll probably need to shorten the run & drink more tea!!!!!!
Sorry Tucks thats a beer I owe you at the JN dinner.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the low down on the race names. Will watch out for Tucks post.

It certainly is set to be sweltering! Should be a lovely morning.

Good luck to those racing!!

Cheers,

I could do with a long day out on Sunday, and was very tempted by the Moors and Tours from Hope, although I see that the event is now full. Are there any takers for a run around the route of this one, starting at 9am (1 houre before the race start) with a possible tea stop in Edale?

Andy,
Yes please.
Do we know the route or are just going for an approximation?

Tuck's not out on Sunday so not forgetting everyone I discussed with Andy the possibility of posting a route/venue for this Sunday and talked to Alan Ireland today as well. Hopefully between them they will come up with a route to enjoy the sunshine, have a relaxing run and as Phil so accurately describes, drink lots of tea!

Notmal servive including nice pictures as usual will recommence for next weekend.

Andy, I have a place for this but feeling rubbish with a head cold so sadly won't be running, can you use my place? not sure of the rules about this but it's there if you can....

Will try to make the development day though, is this still happening as I haven't seen anything posted?

Lots of confusion here, as I have said that Alderley Edge sound good, as well as the Moors and Tors. I will probably go for the unnoficial Moors and Tors with Mr Cheek and any other takers starting at 9am. It might be a bit busy parking in Hope itslef, so I could suggest starting from the road/ laybys outside Peak cavern's carpark in Castleton.

Andy,
Assume that`s the bit of road after the T-junction at the bottom of Winnatts?
Anyone want a lift from Macc?

Yes 9am from the bit of road after the T-junction at the bottom of Winnatts. Rough route is up Cave Dale, wiggly stuff on top, Mam Tor, Hollins X, Edale, Grindsbrook, Ringing Roger, somewhere else, Lose Hill, Hope and back to Castleton, but who really knows what in a box of chocolates?
