This is free in the diary at the mo and hopefully I'll have been back out a few weeks by the time this comes around. Off at the mo with a suspected stress fracture, John Griffiths attested as much at any rate.

Maybe I might actually get to it this year ha!

Oh the pain! Me poor back 'n' me poor legs, an' why do we must go to windgather every year??? Lot older this year as well! (Keep checking you back step for what the beer fairy might leave!)

If we have guests for the weekend, why not have a get together on the Saturday night as well, in order to add an additional level of alcoholic handicapping. I would suggest an Indian, but am not sure whether most peoples systems could handle that the next day.

Phil ... mainly the run, but the run after a curry also sounds 'challenging'!

Plan to be there with rose - third time lucky what with snow and injury in past years. Have reccied it several times with rose and best time so far is 3 hrs 20 without going to sweetie tree so expect an early start!!

also got entry for tour de helvellyn the day before so might be Rose towing me for a change
