Just when you thought we'd seen the last of those awful reality TV shows, ITV trots out another piece of low budget trifling nonsense. Allegedly, this series was filmed back in 2007 and has been gathering dust on the shelves ever since. And thanks to the credit crunch, rather than spend some money on commissioning something informative or really entertaining, ITV have decided to show any old rubbish that they'd already paid for and is taking up room in their archives.
So, they are airing the second series of Dating the Enemy from next Monday. The first 3 programmes will be shown Monday to Wednesday next week with the following 3 programmes at the same time the following week. They're scheduled for 10.35pm on ITV1 so I'll be watching Paxman on 2 but if anyone fancies a laugh at my pathetic attempts preserve some dignity whilst dating someone who I have absolutely nothing in common with then by all means tune in. I've been told my show is to be shown on the 8th June, so you've just got time to pop out and buy a 52 inch plasma telly for the occaison!!
If it's as embarrassing as I suspect, I may not be seen for some time, so I hope you all have a good summer on the fells, roads & wheels.
