Well done to Macc Harriers Dan Croft, Steve Swallow, Chris Cripps and Helen Evans who all finished today's Three Peaks race! It looks like the conditions were interesting.

I suppose I should clarify - that's the Yorkshire 3 peaks not the Bollington one.

Had a very enjoyable day. Definitely four seasons in one day, sun rain snow and hail. Top of Whernside was a bit cheeky but weren't up there too long. Had the pleasure of meeting my old office partner Pete Newham and chatting to him during 1st half helped keep the pace sensible - a much better second half than in Edale skyline.
I can see why this hasn't been such a popular race over recent years a bit of a trail race with proper hills, and a bit conjested at times - nevertheless, well organised well marshalled and a tough race. Think I'll do it again this having been my 1st attempt. Nice to meet Helen too!
