9.30 Whaley Bridge. Canal Street Whaley Bridge, SK23 7LS
Park behind the Pear Tree cafe.

A ~2 hour run led by the inspirational Andy Skelhorn & Lily, using local knowledge to guide us around a route of local interest and intrigue. May even be some snow for added interest but it will definitely be cold so bring the good gear.

Chinley in Winter.

Meet en-route at Tucker's at 9am for car share.

I have dug up lots of local intrigue on this run, with a murder, an escaped bear and other stories of ready wit and repartee to delight you on your way

Well worth turning out of bed to brave the snowy roads and force a way through the fog to sunny Whaley Bridge. Snow underfoot, magnificent views followed by ...
Hazel sharing out in the car park a wonderful cake which she had baked to celebrate her return, then my first visit to the Pear Tree Café. A fine venue where, not
sated by Hazel's baking, I succumbed to a most succulent slice of lemon cake with meringue topping. Many thanks to Andy for a great route through the snow.
