Pre-handicap curry at the Viceroy

Postby Clare GVS » Sun Nov 30, 2014 9:58 am

Hi all,

A curry and a few beers (usually one too many) on Saturday night has become an important part of the pre-handicap preparation of some club members in recent years. I've found that the anaesthetic effects of the Poachers' finest usually lasts at least to the top of Shutlinslow, and Phil is often very generous in allowing a few moments 'stopped time' in the race for anyone needing to release their popadums into the wild.

So far I think Andy, Kirsty and I are up for it. Post here if you'd like to join us.

Cheers,
Clare

Great Phil! 7pm in the Poachers then 8 o' clock in the Viceroy. Barnsey is on the list. See you there, looking forward to it.

The "monday nighters" will be at the viceroy on Monday pm (oddly enough) putting back the calories. I'll be gnoshing/dancing in Meerbrook tonight. Won't need navigational aids on sunday just a good "nose".
Enjoy your eve.
