Bollington Festival Hash

Postby Andy Skelhorn » Fri May 16, 2014 2:33 pm

As part of the Bollington Festival there is a 'Hash',
Normally a 'red dress' organised by Cheshire Hash House Harriers, but this year they are elsewhere for an anniversary run, so it falls to me and Taffy to run and attract participants.

So here it is, the Bollington Festival Fancy Dress Hash.

A 5 or 6 mile run, under hash 'rules' (lots of checks and beer)
Not red dress this festival, but wear something out there and interesting
Tuesday 27th May, 7.45pm Vale Inn Car Park, Bollington

What could possibly go wrong!

Anyone who can make this event on Tuesday will be very welcome. Need a few more warm bodies to attain critical mass.

Well, that was different. A bit like a run led by Barry, only without Barry. I covered just short of 6 miles, mostly by judging which way the organisers planned to go. Some keenos (mentioning no names PB) did more that 9 miles, but mostly in the wrong direction.

Great fun Andy, thanks for putting it together.

But did you get the apres shambles rituals of public humiliation and beer drinking, that lasts longer than the actual running??
