Wed 27th March run

Postby Julian Brown » Mon Mar 25, 2013 10:59 am

We're due to run from the Lamb Inn near Chinley (between Chapel and Hayfield), however I'd suggest that given the current state of the roads and future weather forecast this might not be a very good option.

Reluctant as I am to change, could I suggest the Vale Bollington as a more suitable venue for next Wed ??

Best to assume Sugar Lane is still going to be closed and arrive at The Vale from Adlington Road. Post if you know different.

Sugar Lane is now open again if only single track - so approach from North or South is OK

Ooh brill, I'm in!

The track up by the Savio centre has been quite exciting for the last few days: there's a deep drift about 2.5m tall by the steps which requires a bit of mild scrambling! Oakenbank lane and Kerridge Ridge are ok ish, although some of the gates on the tops are blocked by drifts.

See you later :)
