Sunday Run : 2nd October

For those who missed Alan's text, this Sunday's run will be from Alderly Edge. He didn't say where to meet but the usual spot is the layby on the right hand side (heading towards Alderly Edge) just down from the Wizard Tea Rooms.

Be ready to run by 09:30. It should be a lovely morning, enjoy

It looked very gloomy over Alderley Edge from the top of the bright & breezy Bosley Minn.

We had a lovely run in warm conditions. And had the privilege of running with 2 people that are new to the area, Julia and Duncan Dickie.
I presume they are, or soon will be joining our club Mac Harriers. So expect them to turn-up at future venues, as they appear very keen to get involved.

At the moment they reside in Bollington but we’ll forgive them for that and welcome them into the fold anyway.

Yes,welcome but let`s be sure we don`t take them on runs & drop them.
I know Larry has plans for avoiding this.
We need to support his efforts.

Actually, Phil, they dropped me. Fortunately it was near the end of the run where people knew where they were going but, Martin kindly hung back to lead me in. I was bushed. It's amazing what 90 minutes of running can do to ones well-being. Only a transfusion of tea and large slice of Victoria Sponge revived the parts that need reviving after such exertions.
